Type of a scam Employment
They then claimed they were partnering with ID.ME to verify her identity and run a background check on her. They asked for her phone number which she gave to them and then proceeded to ask her for a code that was texted to her cell so that they may access her ID.ME account. Next they said they were having trouble accessing her account and she gave them her password to help so that they may link her “work email” to her ID.ME account to allow the background check. This occurred a few more times with them asking for the generated codes multiple times, and her providing these said codes.
On June 14th she proceeded to login to her ID.ME account and found out that she was locked out of it.
