Jason called my cell phone and said he was here to offer me the opportunity to pay on a product from 12/15. Stated he wasn't sure of product.he was a 3rd party firm hired to collect...probably beauty product of some kind & could I recall. Said company was filing a civil case against me and that I could pay now so that it didn't appear against my credit. After saying I didn't recall products from 2 1/2 years ago he said he could reduce the payment to $224 from $304 and it would be in my best interest to avoid my credit report being tainted.Stressed how it would harm my future credit report and that it best to simply settle. He mentioned he lived in Philadelphia...call showed Miami, Fl. I told him to call back because I needed to discuss with my husband. He called back and the second time his calling address showed Dallas, Tx. I told him I needed a copy of the bill from the company and that I decided not to pay without a bill...he didn't offer a copy but said good luck in civil court and hung up. Definite scare tactics. This first # showed as a non fixed Volp phone. He used #'s 786-375-8909 and 972-584-1759.
