Blanchard Valley Health System Scam

A person emailed me saying I applied on LinkedIn for a remote data entry position. I applied to a lot of different jobs on LinkedIn, so I don’t remember exactly if I applied to this specific job or not. I had an interview with Wendy Rizor (I looked at her LinkedIn profile and it states she’s HR at Blanchard valley health system) through RingCentral. I thought it was weird, but since it’s a remote typing/data entry position I thought it kinda made sense, I’ve heard of that before. It seemed very legit, these people know what they’re doing. They sent me an offer letter the next day - with the exact logos and CEO and all the details to make it look legit. I signed the offer letter and the prompted me with an “assessment”. This assessment asked me about a prior admin mistake I’ve made in the past and it had to be at least 400 words… I’m telling you these people don’t skip a beat! Something just felt “off” so I researched further and saw the previous post about the scam. Then I searched on Blanchard Valley Health System Instagram and saw a scam alert. Please be aware of this!

I applied for a remote data entry/administrative assistant job via LinkedIn “supposedly”. I wasn’t able to find this application on my LinkedIn though. They pose as “Jeanne Atkins” who is indeed a HR real person who works at Blanchard Valley, however this is not Jeanne. After interviewing, they provided me with a welcome letter signed by the Blanchard Valley CEO. Most of it seems legitimate because they send you the actual health care system’s website and pose as real people. I was suspicious due to them claiming to pay $35 an hour for a remote job. After I called the real Blanchard Valley Health System they informed me this is an ongoing scam and that all of their email addresses do not end in “.work”. She also informed me they do not currently have remote jobs and that the interview process they used is not the same as their real interview process.
