Hi mi one of 214 people that fail for this scam i still think it was a identity theft scam on 02/20/2022 i was looking for a job on indeed website when this company was hiring contract workers called Blakney Better Services, A day or two they e mail me because i filed out an application and e mailed them my resume, Next they told me they needed my ss number to run my back ground check so I did. Then a day passed then they e mail me with a welcoming letter signed by the CEO- Pete Blakney. that I passed my background check and accepted. Next they explained that the next contract was in Maddison TX, They said we would get a paid hotel and a per deem check for 50 Aday so we would get a 250 every Monday for the starting week, than we would get paid 20 dollars an hour starting paid guarantee 40 hours a week Monday true Friday until the contract was finished. .A few days later they canceled it because they said that the client dint deposited the funds to start work so that got canceled. Next they told us that they were getting ready for the next contract which that took 3 weeks to start on 03/21/2022 in Columbus TX they needed to hire 185 people to start that contract on the last victual meeting they said the contract was signed the funds were deposited we were set to go and to show up at Laquinta inn in Columbus TX on 03/20/2022 so we can fill out our on boarding papers to start the next day On 03/19/2022 we got a e mail saying that the person in charge with the hotel disappeared on them and that we dint have a hotel to arrive and a job location until the next contract on August a big disappointment. So I WARN EVERYBODY DONT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY ITS A SCAM.
