My husband received a letter in the mail saying a client (an investor) of theirs who died in an accident 10 years ago and has an unclaimed insurance policy for $10,950,777.00. Since they have the same last name and no other relatives has come forward, they ask my husband's permit to add his name to the policy. Wants to keep this confidential and wants him to contact them with his information.

Received a letter stating there is unclaimed "permanent life insurance policy" held by their deceased client. The policy holder of an unclaimed Payable-on-Death (POD) savings monetary deposit in the sum of $7,520,000 died in an accident in Niagara, Ontario Canada 7 years ago. No one has come forward since his death. Insurance company code stipulate that insured permanent policies not claimed must be turned over to the abandoned property division of the state after 7 years. Consent to partner. Add your name to policy, all proceeds be processed on your behalf. He wants 10% of this money to be shared among charity organizations while remaining 90% shared between us. 100% risk free. The letter/envelope was addressed to my father who passed away 10 years ago.
