My order for two boxes of Ambitex black nitrile powder free sterile exam gloves sizes L and S were ordered in early July. After 2 weeks the order had not been received. I had contacted their so-called customer service department and asked for a refund. One week later I got a reply asking me to have patience because all orders have been delayed due to the pandemic. Ok, fine, I waited 2 more weeks. Still no gloves and I was getting overly suspicious. I contacted them again. Another week later, from a different email, I got an apology along with a note that said the shipment got lost and they were transferring the boxes to a different shipper. How can you transfer a shipment that was lost? Another two weeks went by and still no shipment. So I contacted them again. One week later I get a reply from yet another email address. This time they sent a tracking number which was worthless. Finally, the boxes came. The only thing correct were the sizes. The large gloves were white, the small gloves were blue, they were latex not nitrile, they were not sterile, and most of the writing on the boxes were in Chinese. So I again emailed them with my complaint and asked for a refund. I never got no response. I wrote again threatening to contact PayPal, the BBB, and the any other US agency that would listen unless I got what I ordered or got a refund, their choice. Nothing. I contacted PayPal who said that since they did send gloves my complaint didn't qualify for a PayPal refund. Ok, I was not going to take this lying down so I contacted PayPal credit. The gentleman I spoke to said that PayPal often does that, but since I used my PayPal credit account for the purchase, they filed a dispute and no money would be paid out to this company. However, so far, I have seen no evidence that the charge has not been paid. I really needed these gloves as I have a very sick husband and we have to be very careful around him. So, naturally, I am furious. I am now in the process of following through with my threat and reporting them to any agency I can think of for fraud and false advertising. My guess is that this "company" is run by foreign nationals trying to make money off of hard working Americans and they don't really care who they hurt in the process. This needs to be stopped!
