Individual contacted me through social media stating that he/she is a an account manager. If I'm looking to make ex amount over a certain amount of period. Asks about if I knew anything about crypto currency, etc. Proceeded to continue to ask if I wanted to sign up and would be trading on my behalf. I was very hesitant at first since it's social media. After going through several similar pages sending private messages. I figured maybe this one is ok so I decided to go along with the offering. So I had to purchase ex amount of crypto and I'd receive this amount in my portfolio. Which I can withdraw whenever I wanted. The possible scam alert started to ring I my head when I was asked to pay a verification fee to make withdrawals. I was promised nothing bad was going to happen my profit is secured, etc. I had asked a lot of questions prior which to a degree some were dismissed until I kept on asking about such concerns. The emails I've received seemed to be very vague, unprofessional and their claims of me not paying for anything prior. Other ways of contacts was through the WhatsApp messenger. Repeatedly I was assured everything was fine then I was told issues came up etc. Also, rather make withdrawals off the website I was told they'd directly send my profits through other forms of payments. I did a little of research after this whole ordeal to see they have an almost exact replica to another website. I'm not sure if it's a sting operation they have going on. Since pretty much almost all of their websites look similar or identical. Customer service on there is very limited to responding when asked certain qiestiins. I do have a log of receipts of everything conversation. I became frustrated and went off on the individual eventually. Finally told me I'd get this so called profit but first I'd have to pay more money.
