Type of a scam Online Purchase
Who I believed to be the owner. She was odd, in that she did not answer a lot of the questions I had.
Long story longer, she told me that the puppy “Arsher” would be shipped on Sept 11 and then She notified me that the puppy had been dropped off at the airport.
I neglected to say that I had wired $780.00 ($600 for the dog, $128 for the flight and the remainder for a puppy nanny.
Not long after, I received a frantic email saying “URGENT” puppy needs a different crate that meets the r emulations of the airlines and
That the breeder had dropped off the dog in a wooden crate! No w I am furious with the breeder- who takes a puppy t o be flown in a wooden crate?
Forgot to mention the name that was signed when the person picked up the $$ from the wire transfer- Devin Harrison, 850 8 Windy Hill Rd., Oklahoma City, Ok 73179
I spoke with a person named Lena Brown, 7100 Terminal Dr., Oklahoma City 73159, tel 580-203-5584, who needed me to wire $!180 for the rental of an airline approved crate, which would be totally refunded (less the 30$ rental fee) when I picked up the dog- now, I am beginning to get suspicious, as I said I had paid for a pet nanny.
The best part hen he knew I could not wire the $$$, he asked me to get 2 American Express gift cards plus one for $200 and it was then I realized I had been scammed.
All the while, I was worried about the puppy in the wooden crate!
