Phone number out of Arkansas called me. Once I picked up and announced who I was, there was a beep, a 3-second silence, and then a female who said "Hello, this is Sam with BIS Insurance. How are you doing today?" I hung up as there is no reason I would get a cold call for insurance out of Arkansas. I searched the number and it did not come up with a direct business.

They identified themselves as BIS insurance. I did a Google search and saw this is a scam and a link to report

I received a call to my cellphone and the person on the line said they were calling from BIS insurance and their next question was “how old are you?”. When I said what is this, they hung up. When I called back I found it was a personal phone number, leading to a cell phone voicemail.

I answered the phone and they stated that they were BIS Insurance. They were explaining about who they were. I hung up after a couple of minutes because I knew it was a scam.
