Earl Burchman sent a message from ScamPulse.com that he was interested in a quote for a roof replacement. He said he was recovering from lung cancer and could not talk. He could just correspond through email. We sent him the quote and he wanted our banking routing number and wire instructions to send the money. Instead he sents a check for $91,345.00 from a company called Echopoint Media which our bank caught as being fraudulent. He then sends an email that he overpaid and requested the difference between the $26,000 roof and the check. The home he requested the quote from was not in his name and when asked he said we were bothering him with details. Attached is a copy of the check they sent along with the letter.
