Company emailed be from an human resources email from the company name. Made a very nice offer for salary and included bonuses. They get you access to everything very fast. most of the conversation is through their website portal or telephone. you get assigned as an Admin Assist but soon find yourself tasked with making your own business name and account. All the documents they prepped seemed very legit from state stamps for the company to signatures from other companies. they ask you to fill out an EFT form for where your salary will go, also a W4 for taxes. After a week they ask you to open a business account so you can conduct wire transfers for their cryptocurrency wire transfers. After all that is said and done "your boss" tells you that money is wired to your account, and give very precise instructions on where to wire the money while it is still pending in your account. And because they are using cryptocurrency the money is time sensitive for them to get the correct amount converted. When you go to make the transfer your boss will ask you to call immediately this is where it gets tricky and I am glad Bank of america found it first before the transfer went through. said company that did the wire transfer will proceed to draw the funds back. If the transfer would have gone through, the money would have went through, they would have gotten their money back and i would be stuck owing the bank all that money since it is all in my name. Business account is still on hold pending funds to go back to where ever they came from.
