1st email asked to pay invoice that had my clients name on it. I pay invoices as required. Invoice was not attached so I replied asking for invoice and that I can't do etransfers only use my 3rd party company to pay and will need bank info. The 2nd email attached an invoice with Brown Management Group Toronto, ON and consulting and corp year end description. I clicked the name and noticed it was [email protected] which I didn't recognize. Contacted client to confirm it was him and he let me know it was not. I did print the invoice so I hope my malware program caught it.
