Received an email indicating I was being billed for a renewal of a Geeks Squad contract. I have never signed up for the service. Called the number on the email, and next thing I know I have them in my bank account (they had me load apps that gave them that capability.

While in my account, they managed to put a charge on my account of $500, and I soon had a additional CREDIT of $30,000. To “correct” this entry, they wanted me to wire $30k to a place in Thailand. It was then that I learned from the bank that the $30k was transferred into my checking account from my equity loan account.

I have claims with the bank, have requested a new debit card, and am worried that they might have gotten my Social Security Number while in my account.

I received an automated message at 4:44 pm this afternoon coming from phone number marked Scam Likely on my caller id. The message stated that if don't return the call within 24 hours then my card or checking account would be charged $399.00 with is attached in their system for an auto renewable subscription.
