They are pretending to be Centerpoint Energy which is a utility company. They sound legitimate on the phone. They took my social security number, date of birth, name, and address. They also took my wife’s credit card information as a “deposit” to start our gas service. I later received an email saying thank you for your purchase with a receipt for 3 journals to download. I was scammed.
