First warning sign: 5 minute time limit to complete form including credit card information for “shipping”.
Provides customer service number and documentation in offer.
Number is legitimate and I spoke with a human who was competent.
The details of the giveaway make it clear that no prize was won. By providing credit card info I would be authorizing regular debits from my account in amounts less than $100 which would ensure my participation in the “sweepstakes”. My personal information would also be shared with other online products and offers. Free gift cards for these products would be sent to me also.
