Puppy scam: the offer was an inexpensive puppy with same-day shipping. In hindsight, the price was too good to be true. Couldn't pay by any online methods; seller requested an American Express gift card. After I paid, they said I needed to pay an additional "refundable" insurance fee for the shipping (via MoneyGram or Western Union). I didn't pay it because this is the point when I realized it was a scam. I was in contact with them via cell phone, text messages, and emails. Still no refund.
