BFI Services Reports & Reviews (1)

I received a voicemail from this company asking that I call back to acknowledge documents that need signed, referencing # 25564. When I called back, a gentleman answered and asked if I was Christina Norberg. I said no, as that was my previous name. He immediately said, then you acknowledge you went to Good Samaritan Hospital and accept this debt. I said it was the first I heard of what he was referencing, and wanted to know additional information. He became very aggressive, and then said "God Bless You" and hung up.

I called the number back and got a Jason Fernandez on the line. I asked if he could look up my information by name or phone number, and he said no - as clearly I was recalled out of their system based on my previous call. That once the account is deemed not acceptable, they delete it immediately from their system, making any contact info about me absent. I asked which company he represented and why, at which he said he was collecting for an old hospital bill. He asked that I call the hospital to gather additional information on the debt. I called the hospital, and was told I have no outstanding debts, and to NOT provide any financial information to this outfit.

I called the number back that again initiated the call to me, and Jason again answered the phone. I identified myself again, and advised I spoke with the hospital, and no such debt exists. He said he had Dallas Medical on the back line, and too was experiencing a bad debt given to him - and they are choosing now to not represent medical bills any longer. I advised that it didn't make sense, that ironically in the last five minutes they are deciding to not take on medical debt collection? I asked for an address for him. He said he would have to go determine who the debt sold them the account. I clarified and said I want HIS address. He didn't have it. Fumbled... and said listen, ma'am. We will leave you alone. I stated I would be turning him in for fraud, and obtaining legal assistance, as I was concerned of him having personal information about me, and his effort to gather personal information about me. That he appeared to be a fraud. He became very nervous, aggressive, and said to leave them alone.

I called the number back AGAIN - and immediately received an odd voicemail representing BFI Services.
