My freezer stopped cooling, so I called for repair. The technician, Frank, arrived 15 minutes after their 4-hr window. He argued with me that the freezer was working fine, even though I kept reiterating that anything in the freezer would immediately start to thaw. He refused to run any kinds of diagnostics and said if I DID have a problem, it’d be the compressor, and that would be a $900+ repair. The next day, I emailed the company and explained that I did not get any services from the company and did not feel it’d be appropriate for them to cash my check for the service fee. They agreed not to, but ended up cashing my check later that day.
