I was trying to purchase a puppy. The website showed pictures of puppies to purchase. I tried to call the phone number listed. I didn’t get an answer. Was requested to contact by email which I did. They told me I had to make payment arrangements in full before puppy would be shipped. I asked to pick up the puppy and they said they didn’t allow that because of possibly transmitting dog diseases and possible Covid transmission. I asked about how to pay them. They said I needed to check to see if my bank used ZELLE and then they would let me know where to transfer the money. I had asked them earlier what kind of guarantee I had that I would get the puppy I had paid for. They were offended that I would ask that and told me that if I had a problem with having to see the puppy before I bought it that maybe they weren’t the right breeder for me. They then told me about their 30 day guarantee to return or exchange the puppy for a full refund. I told them I would drive to Dallas and asked to meet them at a public place to get the puppy and I agreed to pay cash. That was two days ago and I haven’t heard anything from them. There were a couple of red flags that came up that bothered me. I would like to believe that they are honest people but my gut feeling is that they aren’t. I was lucky that I didn’t lose any money but it sure hurts your heart when you think you are getting a certain puppy and you feel like you are being scammed. I have saved all the text messages between us. They do have my name, phone number and address. They gave the following information also: AKC registered and Licensed breeder with License registration number TX601_285
