My mother received a call from "Jack Williams" stating she had an upgrade for her computer which supposedly she paid for last year. Jack wanted remote access. Jack had a strong accent and I asked where his office was and he said New York and Berlin. My mother was scammed 2 years ago, but once scammed, she unplugged her computer and hasn't used it since. I told him this was a scam and he kept insisting that it was not and he was a member of the BBB.
