I was contacted via email about an ‘Insurance Claims Analyzer’ position that I supposedly already had skills for. The job was home based which really got my attention because that’s what I’ve been looking for. They offered good pay to have items shipped to my address and I was supposed to inspect them and pass along what I was seeing. They offered training and paying for all shipping labels. As soon as I got the website and searched it along with the name Crystal Lofton, a bunch of scam pages came up, with people saying how they got scammed. Don’t get me wrong, this all seems legit, from the way she emailed and had full description and answers to questions, to their website. I just found out their website is exactly the same as a real business from looks to the words. So they just copied everything and made it their own. SHe wanted me to agree to get started and to fill out the paperwork to get started. So basically she wanted all my information. I’ve read other scam websites and someone said that they actually were receiving packages and she thinks they were buying goods from stolen credit cards and having them shipped to your house and then they will give you a label with your return address on it and ship it overseas. That was speculation but it sounds correct. I emailed back and told crystal lofton I am definitely not interested in the scam and am reporting them.
