On Monday, March 26, 2018 Cliff Edwards owner of Better Quality Carpet came to my home and gave me a free quote for new carpet. I accepted the quote and gave him a $500.00 deposit. He was suppose to lay the carpet Monday April 9, 2018 10am. He say that the vendor didn't have the carpet I ordered and that he would call them to find out why. I never heard from Cliff, I called left a message, then I message him on Facebook message He reply that they would not have the carpet until April 18, 2018. I called 3 other carpet companies and they all told me to ask for a refund because that was not true information that he was telling me. I requested a refund immediately. On April 11, 2018 he states that the bookkeeper wont be in the office until Friday. On April 18, 2018 he states the refund check of $500.00 was mailed to me. On April 23, 2018 he states that his son would bring a money for $ 500.00 refund to me in the morning. Today is April 25, 2018 I still don't have my refund. I have made a police report#18-11253 and contacted my attorney. Not he is saying that I am threatening him because I said I was trying not to have my brothers contact him.
