Claimed to be Shelia Pultz who was working with an accountant with the charity Angel Group Funding. Claimed they were giving money to the needy and would send me $5000 (though mentioned i would have to send $500 back as some sort of fee). They then said i needed to fill out an application form which had basic info like name address email and number. They then used that info to hack my Facebook. I'd recently had a stroke so when they told me I'd be recieving a code from the accountant and to give it to them, I did. This was actually them resetting my Facebook password. Luckily my daughter was able to get it back. I didn't realize at the time it was them though and told them someone else had hacked it. When they realized this wouldn't work they said i needed to confirm my identity by sending them the front and back of my license. My daughter tells me this was also to steal my FB. I told them i didn't feel comfortable with sending that over Facebook so they told me to sign up for ID.me and confirm my ID that way. I did this. They then straight up asked for my ID.me username and password. Even after the stroke i wasn't this dumb and finally realized they were a scammer and told my daughter about them.
