Company offers free sample of product and only asks that customer pays for shipping with credit card. Customer receives product with a credit card charge in the amount of the agreed upon shipping price, then a couple of weeks later the company starts charging an enormous charge on your credit card that is not in any way reflective of the products value. After tracking down the phone number of the company and talking to customer service, the customer will be informed that the free sample was only free if the product was returned within the specified amount of time. In addition, the company will claim that the customer signed up for a subscription and will continue to bill the customer the enormous charge at regular intervals. If the customer asks for a credit, the company will simply charge the customer the enormous charge again without consent and then give the customer a small credit.
