I got a similar call from Best Buy mobile and asking for all the details. They have asked credit card details and last three digits of SIN. They have also sent an confirmation email. Now I’m not sure what to do. I have blocked my credit card. But not sure what further consequences will come.

East indian accent, claiming his number was registered to the Better Business Bureau.
I would have not anticipated this level of sophistication unless reading here, so t hank you very much. I've created a complaint via Scam Tracker on BBB, thanks for the warning i almost fell for it if i wasn't looking it up at the same time and found your post!

He goofed up with the wrong phone model, and then i started looking more closely at the e-mail, and it looked suspicious and hand written.
especially when he said he would change it and then sent it again...

In August 2020 I received a call from an East Indian sound like person posing as a best buy mobile agent offering me a plan for my current carrier and a new cellphone offer. It seemed legitimate because I received a similar call a year ago from Freedom mobile offering the same thing but it was legitimate. I agreed with the offer of Iphone 8 with a plan better than my current plan so eventually I gave my personal information as you would give in a legitimate transaction. He sent me an email confirming the offer and the plan details. After a few weeks I received the phone but not the model I ordered. The guy called me the same day i received the phone and ask me to check the model and once he found out that i received the wrong model he asked is I can send it back and he will send the right model as there was a mistake in sending it. I noticed that the package came from Bell but the address he gave me to send it is not the same address it came from. I did not pay attention as I know these companies are connected so I assume it was link with Bell in a way. He sent me the label that Purolator will print when I go there and it will be sent for free charged to their account which what happened. After that I never heard from him again and the when I call the phone nobody answers and the website does not direct you to anything at all. After a few months I received a bill from Bell saying I have an account with them and an outstanding balance of more than $2,000! To my surprise I called Bell and found out that it was a legitimate account with my information and was created at the same time when I received the offer from the guy posing as best buy mobile agent. Now Bell is demanding that I pay the bill as I am responsible for it they said. But how come they allow somebody to open an account through phone without showing photo ID? They said the guy passed their verification while I do not have any account with them to verify the guy from. If they had strict security protocol this should have not happened and they cannot make me liable for this. I am sure a lot of people are scammed the same way I was.
