I went through home advisors for bathroom remodel. I was contacted by the individual, James Decker. Settled on a price, gave him down money. He consistanly came back for more and when i questioned him, he told me that i had signed a contract and if i did not give him money when asked, he would put a lien on my house, and get it when i died. I should not have been intimidated but i was, he probably only preys on the elderly, as i am. The police in Johnson county said that they could not help me. Knowing that, he will continue to do this as i am sure that he does, legally, police wise, i can do nothing. I thought that going through Home Advisors was a reputable way. Beware, it is not nor this young man and woman either
