I Contacted this person about purchasing a Pomeranian at a very discounted price. I figured something was up when sh would only respond through email and only wanted money sent through Money Gram. She claims that she was in Harrisburg, PA and I was in Memphis, TN so, she would ship the Puppy to me using “pet express” for just an additional $50 charge. I looked up “Pet express” and it was a reputable animal shipping business but the lowest rate I could fine to ship a dog was $800 so her charging me an extra $50 just didn’t seem right. She claimed that she used the service all the time, therefore, they gave her decent deals. I went a wired her money through Walmart for the dog, thinking she was just an older woman who didn’t trust PayPal or things like cashapp. When I sent a picture of the receipt she started acting very weird and sending back short response emails unlike before. She started getting very rude, demanding that I go back and fix the transaction so that she could pick it up at any “Money Gram” location and not Walmart. She claimed “there wasn’t a Walmart around here” when she lived in Harrisburg, PA supposedly. It was then that I really felt something was wrong so, I asked her to send more pictures of the dog in different viewpoints and she did, so I tried to think positive, because I’m already a skeptical person to begin with. We thought it was worth the risk since we had been looking for a Pomeranian for a long time and the price was so good, but that’s how they get you. I ended up fixing the transaction so that she could get it through MoneyGram, sent a receipt, and she said the next morning she would ship out the dog. That next morning I received a very unprofessional looking email from a shipping service called “Up.Standard Delivery” claiming that my dog was in transit but they had the complete wrong name and address. I contacted the number and asked to make a correction and they did but then informed me that the crate that she dropped the puppy off in was not suitable to fly in and so I needed to wire them $820 to “rent” a suitable crate. Everything about this shipping service had red flags. From the emails to the fact that there was only one customer service number and it was the cell phone in which this guy was texting me from demanding $820 before he would “ship my puppy.” After I told him I didn’t have that money and that this seemed like a scam, he started being very rude and pushy and accusing me of “pet abandonment” and saying his company’s lawyers would contact me. I had never even held the alleged “puppy” so therefore it definitely wasn’t my pet. I called him out and walked away from the whole process, following up with a police report and a fraud case with Money gram. I couldn’t afford to lose anymore money than I thought I had already lost. Just never get a dog that you can’t physically go meet and pickup. Even if it’s not a scam, it’s not worth the risk. I should’ve listened to my gut and the information I already had and made a better decision.

I received a e-mail about Pomeranian pups 12 wks old. ..After I paid for the pup he asked for more money for a special crate the pup needed while flying. Well we were suckered in again. After we paid for the crate then he wanted money for food. Since the pup was suppose to be at a Agency . I told him I would not send anymore money ! So he said see you in court !
