I received an email this morning for a renewal from the Geek Squad at Best Buy in the amount of $419.00. I have only 24 hours to cancel this charge. They have a plastic card as payment. We have never purchased any memberships from Best Buy. I called the 888-966-3177 number and was hung up on the first time. I called back and was told by a foreign representative I had to be in front of my computer to fill out the cancellation form. I don’t trust this whole situation and would appreciate your assistance.

Received today , recognized immediately as a scam. Called number they immediately wanted to log in to my computer. I recently received annual Microsoft Office renewal info. which is legitimate so I'm wondering if they have hacked into Microsoft Office's data. We have purchased laptops from Best Buy before.

Received this email today. No purchase was made by me. I went to the Best Buy website & checked my account to be sure. No orders showed up.
