Got a ph call from Jihn Williams from Gardner, CO (719-782-8433) stating that he was an IT tech frim Best Buy Geek Squad. He ask me ti go to a computer/laptop, He did remote session then went to my amazon and access to my info. I became suspicious bcoz he ordered 2 best buy gift cards worth $400. and stated that will bd mailed to me. And at same time he told ne not to shut down my laptop for 45mins bcoz he is debuggibg my laptop. Then he said he will call me in 45mins when done. As soon as He hung uo the phone, I immediately turned off my laptop, cancelled the gift card he ordered from Amazon. He called me at once to find out why did I turn off the laptop. And also ask me why I cancelled the Gift card and that he lost his money.
Next day, he called me back asking me to refund $1,500 that was put back on my mastercard by mistake and he wants me to go online to check my acct to return the money Back. I said no but amazon was the one who return the $200 refund to my mastercard. And that I don’t go online to check my mastercard debit card balance. I said I call my bank. Knowing that he will not win, phone call got disconnected.

A man with an accent claiming to be from Best Buy, called to tell me my computer was sending signals of trouble and was about to crash. I asked for a phone number to call them back, and the above number is what they gave me. I then called my local Best Buy where I bought my computer, and they said they'd never call me about a problem. These guys are a fraud.
