My kindle froze up too. I goggle for help and got the site. The site listed different issues with kindle along with chat box with "Dorthey"...I explained problem and she sent me to tech support. It went down hill from there. They had me put my kindle by computer and they could access what was wrong whoh I did. Before long they found 18 "very" suspicious and tod me the ad to be fixed asap. I should have known better but went ahead and authorized t fix them at 29.99 apiece. I I feel so stupid now and they have access to everything on my compuer. I am so scared! What can I do? HELP!@

did you called them back and discussed about this? well if you feel this was not right i guess you can call them back and have the refund , it depends how you made the payment to them, if it was by a card or check, then seems like somewhere legit as scammers ask for gift cards, i have been with these guys from a year and they help me well everytime i contact them, no need to worry you can always call them

Company offered help during search for help buying kindle books.
company installed & quot;security" applications on computer and kindle
then company asked for $500 for lifetime membership / support for help with buying kindle books predator on elderly people who need technology help

hi this is phyllis briggs and i am with best advisors inc and it's been a year i am using there services, i am old and i am really happy to have there service as i don't know much about tech things, i just watched these complaints and even i got worried so i just called them and they clarified the things with me , i am happy i paid them and use there services everytime i need help
scammers take payments with gift cards and i paid them using by credit card which is okay for me

I was using a kindle that froze up. I went to the Amazon website to find tech support and a window popped up to call a number. I called this number at work and a man said he would need remote access to my home modem. He wanted me to download software that would allow him remote access to my computer. I had to ask him three times for the name of his company before he would give it to me.
