Bessantsm.com advertised a firewood log splitter on Facebook. It was advertised as being solid, one piece cast iron made in Australia. Their ad included video showing a heavy duty cast iron log splitter that was virtually indestructible and the video showed someone trying to smash the log splitter with a hammer. You can view their fraudulent advertising on their web page. I ordered two of them- large and small. The company sent tiny punched soft metal pieces that are spot welded. You can NOT use them to split firewood because they are so flimsy. I complained to the company and they offered me $20, which I refused. They also said I could ship them back to China and pay for the shipping, which is as much as I paid for the two splitters. I have contacted my credit card company. They are investigating the fraud. I then ordered the log splitters from a different company and they sent me the cast iron splitters as advertised. I have attached a photo so you can see how fraudulent the bessantsm splitters are. They are the tiny soft metal things in the middle. The two splitters on the outside are what was pictured on their web site, but obviously not what they sent. I'm hoping by reporting this, someone else will avoid ordering from this company. Their Facebook page also contains complaints from other dissatisfied customers.
