Berry Mayer Reports & Reviews (1)

- Milwaukee, WI, USA

I was offered a position as a Quality Control Inspector. I had applied to random various jobs on Indeed.com in hope of finding anyone who could take me. 2 months after submitting numerous applications and one e-mail later, I was hired. They claim to be a "middle man" in aiding consumers with shipped goods as it is your duty to inspect and investigate the packages and send them on their way to the original destination. They offered $50 in commission for each "pick-up" that was completed in time (alleged 50 packages per week) plus a $3,000 monthly salary. They claim to work with Amazon as well, and start you off as an 'Amazon Sales Representative' when in fact, I contacted Amazon at their [email protected] & via LiveChat with rep. *** who almost instantaneously denied any and all affiliations with "Berry and Mayers LLC". Their webpage was created last month and could fool any one who is poorly uneducated with web design or understanding of the unfortunate powers of content manipulation. Their e-mails were extremely unorganized and never had one consistent recipient. They misspelled their own "names", or rather I say 'identities', and e-mail addresses. In example, the supposed company is called Berry and Mayers, their e-mails would be [email protected], then [email protected]. I would send them mail and quickly discover these addresses were spoof accounts and don't even exist in any sort of registry. Their office in US is nothing but an outdoor mall when searched with Google Street View. Their information is dynamic, meaning one e-mail will state your salary is $1,500 then when speaking to a different representative, the income changes to $2,500, etc. I attempted to reach out to them by phone, and no one ever answers, although their directory is amazingly professional. It is suspected the packages they send out are stolen goods. They do not, however, ask for banking information unless you chose for direct deposit via your bank account, but I chose to be paid with PayPal. Smart thinking! No request for your SSN and no other documents other than your State issued ID, name, and address. Most of the links on their page are misleading or broken. I emailed them through their so called Employee control logo tell them I was on to them, and I would no longer pick up or send packages I got an email reply telling me to calm down and asking me what happened. i once again replied & told them I would not be a party to this fraud and to cease sending packages as I will not accept them. Various names were John Miller HR, Maria Ericcson Supervisor #973-536-0669 which is a New Jersey phone number,Esther Watson Interviewer, and a MelissaAfra DocuSign. Be careful everyone. Although I have ended it on my end, I certainly was not going to continue hoping to get paid, I have yet to know whether there will be repercussions for the work I have done for them so far. I am awaiting for more information. From what I have learned, there is no legitimate ship from home employment-Run as far as you can from stuff like this. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!!
