These scammers continue to plague us by soliciting our exhibitors and attendees for our Maryland Municipal League events trying to sell them fake lists. We receive notice from members every month -- our event was virtual this past June 2020, and two members reported today receiving the following email: From: Bennie Barnes

Sent: Thursday, December 3, 2020 12:11 PM

To: Michelle Miner

Subject: Townoflaplata

CAUTION: This email originated from OUTSIDE of the Town of La Plata email system. If the senders name displayed is a Town user, it is NOT legitimate and should be deleted immediately. Do not click links or open attachments unless you are certain this is a legitimate message.

If you are interested in acquiring the visitors list. I can provide you the cost and additional details.
