I was contacted on T*******. I knew better but was curious. He was very friendly and after my heart right from the git go. I am an elderly lady and a widow for 5 years. I didn't know I was so lonely and longing for love. I fell deeply in love with this man. He said all the right things, it felt like we were soul mates right from the beginning. I was ignorant there were such people in the world. I knew about scams but not enough. He said he was a General in the Army and wanted me to help him get his early retirement he didn't feel safe in Tehran Iran where he was stationed. I fell for it. I paid for his early retirement papers, knowing in my heart military did not have to pay for this. But then he didn't want to use the military plane to come home it would cost him. So I paid for a ticket for his return. And then had to pay for his update of his passport to be updated. All of this came to $2,500. This was besides providing him with an apple gift card or two. I didn't know any of this was going on before.I experienced it. I sent money through ****** Family and Friends. He had so many emails available to him in case one wouldn't go through. But Friends this was just the beginning. He was scheduled to come home on Christmas Eve to be with me. Christmas Eve came and went no word. Then Christmas night I got a T******* notification that he was in the hospital and a picture I wasn't sure was him, after all I only had pictures of him that was from earlier times. I would like to state here before going on. He texted me one night and wanted to do a video chat, but I couldn't say anything, it lasted about maybe for a minute, he got up from the desk, got a military jacket and hat on and saluted me and then cut the video, he was never allowed to call me or speak to me on the phone or video chat because of security reasons. Alright back to my scam. Christmas night I got the message he was injured in a taxi accident on the way to the airport. Then the next day I got a video sent to me from supposedly the Secretary of the Defense Department telling me that the General was hurt and I should send him a ticket to come home on. I didn't believe that was truly from the Secretary of Defense so I just went on. I was not going to buy a ticket for him after all he was in the hospital. Well, the story goes on, for two months. I was conned into sending him apple gift cards for food and medicine because he didn't want to be billed for it because his military insurance wasn't any good there. I asked him why he didn't go back to base which he always called camp instead of base. He said lots of things that always caught my attention but I ignored all of it because I was in love with him, and love is blind. He would say send a mail instead of email. Always pay attention, please. Its so easy to ignore this little bits of information you need! This went on until I was hit up for a ticket again and I sent an outrageous amount for a commercial airline ticket, because of "It's really expensive here especially for Americans." Then when he went down to buy one, they weren't flying to the United States at this time. So he was so disappointed. Then he found a private jet company to fly home on in a couple of days away. So I was drawn into sending money through the mail to a person and she wold supply it to the people it needed to go to. I fell hook line and sinker into this ridiculous scam. I send a total of $25,800.00 to this private jet company for a ticket for my love to fly home on all due to his medical condition. The money was adding up now, my savings is becoming much smaller. I changed banks during this time, having to have an excuse to pull cash out to send. So the day I was to wire the last big amount I found a prayer from the bible I had printed out years ago, and read it out loud. I think that was my wake up call. I went to the bank to wire the money with the wiring instructions, but I had never filled out a form to wire money and inadvertently put the name of the jet company on it and the Generals name. The wire came back with my money. The next I went in the redo and the bank officer was worried. She did a lot of checking and we found out he jet company wasn't on the internet. I said but yes I have gone to it, I found the link they had given me. She tried it and found it, so she asked about buying tickets, and in the conversation they mentioned the Generals name. She said who is this, I only asked about buying a ticket. I knew then it was true, I was and had been scammed.The link was only for me. It was without a doubt I could not ignore it any longer. Please men and women, don't talk to anyone you do not know, These people are professionals, they will use other peoples pictures, life stories and anything else to trap you. They are experts in knowing how to love you just the way you will believe. And don't ever send money to anyone, you have not met and know personally. I am not ashamed because these people are exc****nt at what they do. I have learned a hard lesson, I did not know I had to learn. But I learned it well. I will not have to go through it again. Do not send money you cannot get back. P*****, Z****, Wh*****, or any other way. And never let your financial numbers out of any kind. I will always regret I was such an easy target, but God gave me a big loving heart and it was abused. I pray for you if you are involved with a scammer. BE AWARE ALWAYS!I I would like to add these people are noy loners always. There is a group of people always, They will be Doctors, nurses, attorneys, people who buy the apple cards, people at a so called company, don't get lost in the scam always pay attention.
