We were contacted by Brandon Moreno and Daniel Hope from Bayview Property Management 1601 - 5 Ave Seattle with an offer to purchase our timeshare in Mexico. Daniel then set up a phone appointment with Michael Copeland from Benchmark Escrow Inc. to finalize the closing documents. After all this was done, we were told by Michael that Mexican govt needed their 7% tax prior to being able to have our funds released from the trust account. We wire transferred $2966 to a Santander bank in Mexico City. After the funds arrived there, we have not been able to contact Michael Copeland at all, either by company or personal phone numbers, company fax, or emails. Then after I threatened Daniel Hope with legal action, we received a further set of closing documents from Frank Wursten asking to have a further $2966 wire transferred to a different bank account in Mexico. We did not do this!! Both of these companies should be run out of business, and I hope that somehow the individuals involved in this scam have their names published somewhere as scammers and fraud artists.
