I inadvertently touched an email sent to me on my I-phone regarding a 2-year plan for services from Geek Squad on 10/6/2023 at approximately 3:44 P.M., When I realized the mistake, I immediately called the given telephone number, (1-866-965-72270 at 3:54 P.M. to cancel immediately as outlined in the advertisement. The advertisement already had a pre-assigned Product serial number with a charge of $499.99. I called the representative to let him know that I made a mistake touching the prompt and did not want the plan. All the identifying information was given to him. He identified his name as Joe and had a heavy mid-eastern accent. He would not accept the verbal cancelation request as advertised. No credit card number or banking information was exchanged or given to the representative, but he was given my name, I informed him that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding this matter.
