Call from Sgt. Thompson to let me know that he has my name on a list of persons failing to appear for Jury Duty and that I must pay a $250 fine to remove the bench warrant that is being issued under my name. He was very professional but persistent that I comply and pay the $250 fine and then they would send me paperwork to complete the issue and also pay an additional $250 court costs for filing the paperwork for me and to get the bench warrant removed. He called from 254-613-6108 and when you call this number back it is an answering service that answers "Bell County Sheriff's Office" and then gives you 3 options to reach an office, warrant division or to leave a message.

I did not comply. I called the Bell County Jury Duty division and confirmed it was a scam, they transferred me to the Bell County Fraud Dept and they directed me to you.
