I was approached first on fb by a beautiful woman who had told me to download what's app and then she advised to open a green dot account and told me that she would put money on my account for being her bf...now I know how this looks but I was fooled by the seduction of a beautiful woman. She started to ask for certain info so she could link her bank to my green dot account so she could put money on my account. At this point nothing vital was given and I received two green dot cards in the mail one with my name spelled correctly and one with one letter different in my name. Upon receiving these cards I registered them and had told her I did using only my email and a code from green dot she got into my account canceled both cards and had a new one sent to a different address and when I received the email from green dot about the info I had tried logging into my account and the username and password worked but it asked for an authentication code to be sent to my e mail or my number so when I looked at the e mail and phone number that the code would be sent to it was changed to a different e mail and different phone number but I still get notifications in my e mail I contacted green dot for weeks and got no where so I was able to send an e mail to green dot and I'm waiting for a response and now I'm filing a report on here and if green dot doesn't respond in the next day or two the next stop is the police. From what I understand they have my social security # tied to an account with my name. and my same login info as well as my name on the new card that was shipped to a different address. Luckily I never added funds but someone is using my information to do something I'm unaware of
