S P (585-XXX-XXXX) of Beachwood Tree Service was doing work for a neighbor and showed up at our door on 10/5/22, offering to take down a tree $900 and grind the stump $100. He did take down the tree, but then came back with a story about how his stump grinder was stolen. He had to wait for the insurance claim to go through before he could get another one. We paid him the full $1000 because he promised he'd be back to do the work. We've been in touch with him multiple times over the past 8 months and he is nothing but excuses. He said he doesn't have a new stump grinder yet and that I should hire someone else, but he won't refund the $100 we paid him. He didn't do all the work my neighbor paid for either, and she is pursuing him legally. Not OK!
