Mailing requesting to file the company Colorado Periodic report charging $130 for a $10 report. When I called the help line to ask for company info they hang up. Phone was answered identifying business as W.C.S. and C.P.S. on subsequent calls. Phone numbers- 877-329-4662 and 720-204-1348 with same result.

This company is posing as the Colorado Periodic Report Form and asking for $130. It looks incredibly similar to Periodic Form and can easily scam someone.

The scammer tried to mimic a CO State form (Periodic Filing Report). They want you to send them $130.00 so they can "assist" you in filing the $10.00 report with the State! They are essentially charging you $120.00 for something that would take you a few minutes to file yourself for $10.00. Because their letter appears to look like the actual State form I think they are preying on unassuming people to send the money. Who knows if they even actually file the report for you...

The paper work I received in the mail looks official and unnerving at first, it had the correct ID number and details of my business. There is also a respond by date making it seem as if you might incur a fine, there are even statements to that effect underneath the date. After reading the paper work fully I realised it’s a scam and after reporting it I just tore it up and threw it away.
