Contacted by a recruiter to assess my interest in the opportunity. The scenario is similar to others Lesley, did not check out. Replaced by Linda Cook, did 2 projects for them, no training, et al. Probationary period was 9/24/21 to 11/24/21 but no word from Linda or paycheck, despite numerous emails.

I had posted my resume on indeed.com and had received an email not thru indeed offering me a position as an administrative assistant for a crypto currency mining company. I felt that this may be a scam but decided to ask further questions just in case. When I received an email regarding the job description offering $4000 per month for working 8-10 hours a week, I was suspicious. I emailed and said that I was interested just out of curiosity, and received an email with the company name BCM Company along with website and log in employee sight. It seemed like it may be real, the website has the employees with pictures on it. I searched for each employee by name & picture and could not find one real person. I scheduled a phone interview with Lesley Nelson, it was more than strange. The picture of Lesley on the website is a vibrant women in her 40's (American), the person who called was an older woman with a thick accent. She did not ask my any questions about myself and was very vague regarding my scam questions. She finished the call asking me to sign a contract, give my banking info., and to sign a W2.
