I hired this individual he presents himself as a licensed contractor to do my roof. He has no communication unless i reach out to him. I was told upon signing the contract and writing the check that I should have the dumpster delivered on 03/24/17 and he would be there on 03/25/17 and have it finished over that weekend. I reached out to him and there was always an excuse when I contacted him. 30 days into waiting and the dumpster being picked up empty ($260 wasted as well), I reached out to him and told him per his contract that I wanted revoke it due to the clause of no work started in 30 days. He said ok but nothing happened. I then after researched and found that he has two different business cards circulating with different business names. He said it was the card companies fault. I reached out to the local authorities and they contacted Brandon J***, He stated he needed 10 days so he could return items. We are now on day 14 and he is saying that his bank account is seized. The lieutenant stated that he is still moving forward with issuing a warrant and hopefully he will do the right thing and pay up before that. It appears that he has 4 small claims court cases as well. Adding up to about $30,000. I can get those public records and share with you if needed. I also was contacted by his former business partner that was stating he is owed money from him as well. I can not find him on the internet as a licensed contractor in the state of Michigan like he says. There is a J***but a different first name. I do not want to see anybody else get scammed by Brandon J*** This is a nightmare. At least he did not do my rood and then cause rook leaks due to the seamless gutters being installed wrong, drywall damage and such like he did to one of his customers. Supposedly since he wasn't listened her homeowner insurance wouldn't cover the repair.That is the suit for $20000 you can have access to on the internew I guess we try to find the silver lining.Please let me know if I can help in other ways to prevent this from happening to others.
