On Aug 31, 2018 we had a reservation for the Bavarian Inn for 2 nights. Prior to arriving, the manager *** told us the room was $109 a night. Upon arrival, he then tells us the price is now $145. Our friends booked the exact same room and they paid $155. We get into the room and it was absolutely disgusting, regardless, we stayed as we had a wedding to attend in the area. The first night we went down to the bar to order a pop, and the manager told us that he would not serve us a pop unless we ordered alcohol to make it worth his time. We were the only people in the bar, and he didn't even turn the lights on. As we walked into the bar he said, "Welcome to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre", On night two, we all decided to stay in one room since we had already been overcharged (4 people/ 2 queen beds in the room). We left the hotel to go to the wedding and we returned to our hotel room at 2:30 AM. At about 3 AM, the phone in our hotel room started ringing. Much to our surprise, it was *** calling..the manager of the Bavarian Inn. He is furious that we are all in one room, yelling that he would give us our previous room for only $95. We refused. He then told us we owed him $40 for having 2 more people stay in the Queen bed room. I told him how unprofessional it was to call someone's hotel room at 3AM, and he claimed "he waited for us all day to return and saw on his cameras that we were back so he figured it would be okay to call", he kept saying "just leave $40 cash on the table in the room". I hung up and felt very unsafe at this point, knowing that he was watching us on the camera and had the nerve to call our room at 3AM. We ended up leaving the next morning very early. Fast forward a month later...(Sept 25, 2018). It is about 7:30 pm and I get a call from the Bavarian Inn. He is now claiming I made a reservation for two rooms and because I was a 'no show' he is going to charge my credit card. I live no where near Bruce Mines and I never made a reservation. I told him to delete my number or I will get the police involved if he were too contact me again. *** *** *** *** *** ***!
