I contacted a seller on-line about purchasing a French bulldog. They began texting me about sorting out details. I sent a paypal payment in the amount of $900 to the email address listed above. 2 days later I still didn't not have confirmation of shipment details. I sent an inquiry about this and was told that they would ship same day. I then received contact from this email address: [email protected] advising of flight details for transport, but said that they need an additional $1100 sent via Western Union to cover pet flight insurance. And then a few hours later sent info that the puppy had landed in Ohio but there was a city transfer fee of $900 and asked me to send via MoneyGram. Then they said that they would need to rent a temperature regulated crate due to cold weather and asked that I send an additional $900. It seemed excessive of course, but I was responding in good faith. I was told that it was a deposit and that 90% would be refunded back. Then they said that there was another $1200 fee and I refused. I have requested a refund from the seller and he/she is dragging his feet and the 'Transport' company have not responded at all.

Lucky I was not a victim of the scam myself thanks to a little research on the ScamPulse.com website and petscams.com a website provided to me by the BBB. The scammer wants you to send them $900 either western union or Paypal for a french bulldog puppy. I asked how much shipping would be and they said it's included. I found where one person sent them the money and after they sent the money the scammer asked for more money to ship the puppy to them. I'm guessing that after you sent them that money they would do the whole "we need money for insurance" thing. I've researched this quite a bit in the last few days just to make sure. Their website says $200 to reserve a puppy and today they said it's now $300 to reserve one.
