We purchased a basset hound from this man for $700. We paid through Zelle and cash app. He sent us a bill of sales and everything. He told us he was dropping off the dog at the transportation "airport" and that was it. We then received an email from the transportation place saying that we needed to give them an extra $1,150 for insurance. They wouldn't use any major credit cards, only money through Zelle or cash app. We've tried to get a hold of the guy but there is now no response. We told our banks and now we cannot get any of that money back because we used it through zelle which is linked through our bank.
