Type of a scam Employment
Looking for a new job (front desk/receptionist position), came across "BASS MEDICAL GROUP", was told to email "anna" if I was still interested in the position. Once emailed, she then proceeded to tell me how the position was filled however HR had another opportunity for a personal assistant and to fill in name, email, address (I shouldn't have done that obviously). Not even setting up a date to meet, she said I was given the position (after I sent my name and address I knew it was a scam). I told her I am no longer interested in the position and continued to give me a start date along. Told her again I decline the position, she continued that she had sent a check and needed things to be done for the orphanage. I then texted her that I am aware this is a scam, and she is borderline harassing me and I will take it to the authorities.
( I haven't heard from her since, but she also doesn't understand no..... so will see what happens in the next couple of days)
