Scammed for months and months

After my free trial, Bartleby continued charging me for months on end even though I had cancelled my account. I lost more $150 that my credit card company could not help get back. A terrible, unethical company that preys on college students.

How does the Bartleby SCAM works?

1. They lull innocent college students with free trials for homework supports.

2. Students sign in give them credit card or other payment information.

3. Students find their poor services quality is contradicting to their misleading advertisement in the Bartleby Learn website. Students are unable to receive adequate study support as Bartleby advertised. The students stopped using it and ignore the Bartleby Learn website because it is a free trial.

4. Of course, Bartleby write down defensive legal term hiding in long paragraphs that nobody want to read. Student already fall in their traps as students click the agree button.

5. When the trial ends, Bartleby billing every poor student monthly $9.99. Many student set credit card auto-payment cannot notice Bartleby subscribe bill including myself. Of course it is non refundable.

6. As we know, college student are burdened by loans, rent, bills, credit card bills for example. Personally speaking, is that American student have to pay for their innocence? For some of student $9.99 means dinner for a week.

7. Hungry poor students get mad about Bartleby billing. They want to file a complain but failed. Why? Because Bartleby is not a real business name, no telephone number, no address nor mail box given in the Bartleby website. Victims are unable to protect themselves because the law is helping Bartleby.

The Coronavirus threatening students life, but they have to make for living at this difficult time. When the whole country is helping each other what Bartleby did makes students life more and more difficult. I know nobody cares about students at this difficult time, ScamPulse.com might have too many cases to handle. Banks and credit card company are unable to provide any assistance. But please ask yourself, should the student pay for their innocence?

I was taking an undergraduate class and needed help writing an essay. I found Bartleby on line and they had a $*** two day trial and a 3 month $*** trial period, with option to cancel at any time otherwise you would continue to be automatically charged, monthly. I intended to cancel my membership after my class, however I had to drop my class the same day that I subscribed to Bartleby. I expected to see a *** charged on my bank statement, instead I saw a charged for $***. I written numerous emails, last one reads: We do not refund on the first payment, our refund policy can be found in our terms of services. They claim that they did not have a trial period.
