I have been receiving messages from a female who does not leave her name or her business number only that it is imperative that I call or that the documents will be out for service and a judgment will be placed against me. I did call the number and spoke with someone named John Ramirez and he stated that I had an outstanding debt with Drive Time for a vehicle. Well I do know that I had a vehicle with Drive Time or an affiliated company of Drive Time. So most of the info was correct he told me they would be coming after my husband and gave me the name of the company that my husband works for and I told him that I do not have $12,000. So he confirmed my address that he already had and said I would be getting something in the mail. After much stress and thoughts going through my mind I called back and he said, NO YOU ALREADY SAID NO SO I AM SENDING OUT FOR JUDGMENT!!!! I said what do I need to do to fix this? So then he proceeded to tell me I could settle the debt with $5,600. I told him ok let me see what I can do. I told him I would need confirmation of the legitimacy of this payment so he said I will send you a settlement with all the information. He did but I was still not convinced I would be doing the right thing??? I looked up the firm on ScamPulse.com website with address on the letterhead of letter. NOTHING CAME UP. So then I called ScamPulse.com Lubbock and spoke to someone and she looked it up and confirmed it was not showing up as accredited or non-accredited. She found a number for the address building contact. I called and was told no one by that business name was in this building and I am not the first to call about this issue. He also stated that he had called them and told them to stop using this address and they were rude with him. So needless to say I did not sign the settlement agreement. So now the are harassing my daughter too. I also emailed Drive Time and asked them to tell me if or who has my account for collections. I will see if the can help me, for now I guess I will hope they stop harassing me and my family.
