I received a call this morning from Barnum Graham & Associates. I had missed the call from 317-747-0059 so I called back. The representative told me that they were looking for my husband - used his name - and I inquired as to why. She told me they had 3 separate allegations against him that would be going to court. I asked what they were about and how they knew it was him. They representative gave me a my husband's last 4 digits of his ss#, our current address, his work place and said that he had 3 separate charges for stolen funds, bank fraud and debt collection. They alleged that he had taken a "payday" loan from Direct Cash Loans using a Bank of America Account as collateral. Mind you - they told me all this without verifying any of my information. So, right off the bat I suspected that this was a scam. They can't legally do that. The representative on the phone told me to have my husband call back and hung up. I called back to get the company name and was yelled that they give their name when they answer the phone and that I should just have my husband call back immediately before this goes to court or worse.

I live chatted with *** *** here on bbb website. She confirmed it was a scam and to check my husbands credit report since they had some personal info.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY! THERE IS NO BARNUM & ASSOCIATES.
