A woman that said her name was DH, at ext.2014, called me that said she was from Barclay / Juniper, and she was verifying a charge of $874. She asked if I had made that charge. I said no , then she said she would remove it from my account. She stated the last four numbers of my S.S. #. Then she said that she would connect me with an agent at the Experian credit Bureau. She said his name was JF, and his phone # was 518-730-0174. After speak with him a few minutes he stated that he was with Visa, Mastercard, & Discover card. He asked how much I had in credit card debit . He was offering to take my credit card debit balances for two of my credit cards that amounted to $14,200 , and open up a new credit to with 0 interest until the balance was paid off. I said that he couldn't open a new card , because I thought I had a freeze / lock on my social security #. I he said that I could just call Experian and remove it . It was my understanding that I had to send in 8 proofs of who I was before it could be unlocked. He let me know that they , his company would add $1800 to the new card account for his services. He knew that I had over $15,000 in available credit on my US Bank card , so I guess he was going to use that available amount to pay off the other balances , if he wasn't going to be able to open up a new credit card . I said I didn't want the much balance on my US Bank card . If I didn't want to do this he had enough information on me that he could scam me if he wanted to. I said I didn't like being threatened . I said good bye , and hug up. He called me back immediately with the 518-730-0174 number that D gave me to call him with. I said that I would have to find my # that that I had to remove the lock , so it would be tomorrow before I could do any thing . I received a call the next day , but from a different phone (800-442-4757), yet it still sound like the same man's Hispanic accented voice, but he said his name was R. I said that I didn't want to do this , so he hung up. J  has my full S.S. # , address, & birthday, I have put a fraud alert o with all three of the credit bureaus, and got new credit card s, froze / lock all but two of my credit card accounts.
